I'm a Psychic-Medium. and I'm a visual artist . The two together work for me. Oil painting has become a divine tool for dialogue with Spirit for me and the evidence is in my work. I have been hearing and seeing Spirit or Spirits since I was a small child. I was often misunderstood and suffered from those misunderstandings . At one time I became overwhelmed with hearing people in spirit and not knowing how to guide myself or to seek out anyone to guide me in the dual world of the Spirit World /Physical World I was born into. Art became that tool. I was always attracted to learning as much as I could about Spirit and my abilities. I talked outloud to Spirit everyday. I was a sensitive child and I became an empathetic, sensitive woman. Today, I have focused on accepting my gifts and using them to communicate messages from your loved ones in Spirit.
I know that I have the ability to communicate messages that offer a transformation from grief to peace and softening those fragile edges. I am willing to work with people who have an open mind and are looking for messages from Spirit. I cannot guarantee that the Spirit of their Loved One that they intended on hearing from will come through during the session but a loved one from the Spirit World will come through. Spirit comes through the best way they can to you and when it is right for you to hear the messages and healing they have to give.
Inga Kimberly Brown has earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Art from The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and a Master’s of Fine Art from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Inga teaches painting and drawing at various Institutions in Philadelphia and in North Carolina and is also a Psychic Medium . Inga has taken and completed courses with Lilydale Medium Celeste Elliot and Evidential Mediumship workshops with Medium Thomas John as well as various classes on Mediumship with the United Kingdom's SNUI Programs "

My Artist Statement
My works are oil paintings that take on a more spiritual path for me in portraiture and spirit based arts. I am diving deeper in to the meaning of the work by allowing the compositions to flow without hindrance. I communicate with the viewer directly and I communicate with people in spirit through my mediumship in which I use my art as a tool. I am using wood as extensions to the painting stretchers to make various shapes away from the rectangle of the historical portrait. By creating extensions on my oil paintings with wood and canvas I am allowing an intuition to take place freeing me from any set ideas. The work has elements of ritual and tradition and spiritual dialogue.
For inspiration I meditate and dialogue with the Spirit World. I paint figures from live observation, I use family photographs or relay on images shown to me by people in the Spirit World. I do a gazing meditation into various photographic references of people who have passed on to dialogue with those people in spirit at times. Many of my dedicated portraits to people who are now in the Spirit World are evidence of my spirit gazing using photographs of them. My paintings become letters of spiritual dialogue.
